Features

Built by people who have run a shift.

Zideira covers the whole loop: the menu guests see, the order they place, the ticket the kitchen works from, and the numbers you look at afterwards. Here's all of it.

01 — The menu

What your guests scan into.

QR codes, one per table

Generate a code for every table, room, counter or car park bay. The scan carries that location into the order.

  • Download as PNG, SVG or print-ready PDF
  • Put your logo in the middle of the code
  • Table tent and sticker templates included
  • Re-point a code without reprinting it

Arabic and English

Both languages live in the same menu. The guest chooses, and the layout mirrors properly for right-to-left.

  • Per-item Arabic name and description
  • True RTL layout, including checkout
  • Arabic-Indic or Western numerals
  • Add more languages on request

It looks like your brand

Nothing about the menu says Zideira unless you want it to. Colours, type, logo and cover image are yours.

  • Your own domain or subdomain
  • Colour and font control, light or dark
  • Cover photo and welcome message
  • Add to home screen as an app icon

Photos that load fast

Upload a photo straight from your phone. We compress and resize it so the menu still opens quickly on weak signal.

  • Automatic compression and cropping
  • Bulk upload for whole categories
  • Works fine with no photos at all

Menu structure that bends

Categories, sub-categories, featured banners and a search box. Drag anything into a new order.

  • Drag-and-drop reordering
  • Banner items for specials
  • Tags for spicy, vegan, new, gluten-free
  • Calorie and allergen fields

Options, extras and combos

Build option groups once and attach them to as many items as you like. Prices update as the guest chooses.

  • Pick-one and pick-many groups
  • Minimum and maximum selections
  • Build-your-own boxes and meal deals
  • Free-text notes per item

02 — Ordering

Dine-in, pickup and delivery through one menu.

Turn on the order types you actually offer. The checkout adapts to each one and asks only for what it needs.

Dine-in that skips the wait

The guest scans, orders and the ticket prints. No waving, no waiting for someone to come back with the card machine. If you'd rather a waiter confirms first, put the order in a pending queue.

  • Table number attached automatically
  • Add to an open tab through the meal
  • Call-waiter and request-bill buttons
  • Browse-only mode if you'd rather not take orders yet
NEW Table 07 · 2 items 3.000
PREP Table 12 · 5 items 8.750
BILL Table 03 requested
DONE Table 09 · served 6.250

Delivery with your own areas and fees

Set up the governorates and areas you cover, give each one a charge and a minimum order, and the checkout does the arithmetic. Orders can go out to your own drivers with the address and map pin attached.

  • Kuwait's six governorates pre-loaded with their areas
  • Per-area charge and minimum basket
  • Saved addresses with block, street and building
  • Send to driver with a one-tap message
HAWALLI Salmiya 1.000
CAPITAL Shuwaikh 1.250
AHMADI Fahaheel 1.500
FARWANIYA Jleeb 1.500

Pickup and scheduled orders

Let guests order now and collect later, or book a slot for tomorrow morning. You decide how far ahead they can schedule and how many orders each slot can hold.

  • Custom time windows per day
  • Capacity limits so the kitchen isn't buried
  • Cut-off times for next-day items
  • Holiday and closed-day calendar
08:00 Morning pickup 4 / 10
12:30 Lunch delivery 9 / 10
14:00 Full 10 / 10
19:00 Evening delivery 2 / 12

03 — Running the place

The back of house, on the same system.

Kitchen ticket screen

Big text, colour-coded by how long a ticket has been waiting. Tap to move it from new to preparing to ready.

  • Runs on any tablet or old laptop
  • Sound alert on new orders
  • Separate screens for kitchen and bar

Staff accounts and roles

Give the manager everything, the waiter only orders, the cashier only payments. Nobody sees more than they need.

  • Owner, manager, waiter and kitchen roles
  • Branch-level access limits
  • Activity log of who changed what

Availability and stock limits

Items appear only during the hours they're served, and disappear once the day's batch runs out.

  • Breakfast, lunch and late-night windows
  • Daily quantity limits per item
  • One-tap sold out, auto-reset overnight

Payments and receipts

Take money online or at the counter. Either way the guest gets a receipt and you get a clean record.

  • KNET, Visa and Mastercard
  • Cash on delivery and pay at counter
  • Thermal printer support
  • Refunds and partial refunds

Order alerts

New orders land where your team already looks, not only on a dashboard nobody has open.

  • Telegram bot with accept and reject
  • WhatsApp and SMS notifications
  • Email summaries at end of day

Multiple branches

Run one menu across the group or let each branch keep its own. Switch between them from the same login.

  • Central menu with per-branch overrides
  • Branch-specific hours and prices
  • Branch picker on the guest menu

04 — Growing

The part that pays for itself.

Reports that answer real questions

Not a wall of charts. A handful of views that tell you what to change on Monday.

  • Best and worst sellers by category
  • Items viewed often but rarely ordered
  • Average order value over time
  • Busy hours by weekday
  • Export any range to CSV or Excel

Offers and repeat guests

Reward the people who already come back, and give the ones who nearly ordered a reason to finish.

  • Promo codes, percentage or fixed
  • Free delivery over a set basket
  • Stamp cards — buy nine, tenth is free
  • Guest list with order history
  • Ratings and comments after an order

Share the menu anywhere

The QR code is one way in. A short link works everywhere else.

  • Short link for Instagram bio and WhatsApp
  • Preview cards when the link is shared
  • Google Business Profile menu link
  • Embed the menu in an existing website

Connects to what you already run

If you have a POS or an accountant who wants the data, it doesn't have to be re-typed.

  • REST API for orders and menu items
  • Webhooks on new and updated orders
  • Scheduled CSV exports
  • Import a menu from a spreadsheet

05 — Reservations

Tables booked without the phone ringing.

Live availability

Slots are built from your opening hours and close themselves once they hit your covers limit, so a guest can never book a table you do not have.

  • Slot length you choose — 15, 30 or 60 minutes
  • Covers limit per slot
  • Minimum notice before a booking
  • Stop taking bookings near closing

Party sizes and occasions

Set the largest party you will take online; anything bigger is asked to call. Guests can flag a birthday or an anniversary as they book.

  • Minimum and maximum party size
  • Occasion list you control
  • Free-text notes for allergies and high chairs

Confirmations both ways

The guest gets a reference and a link to their booking. You get an email the moment it lands, with everything the host needs.

  • Instant confirm, or hold as pending for staff to approve
  • Guests cancel from their own link
  • Cancellation window you set

A list your host can work from

Today at a glance, with covers counted. Move a booking from confirmed to seated to completed in one tap, and add phone bookings to the same list.

  • Today, upcoming and past views
  • Filter by status
  • Add a booking taken over the phone
  • Export any range to CSV

Have a look before you commit.

The demo menu is the real thing with sample items in it. Tap around, switch to Arabic, add something to the basket.
